Monster Girl Challenge, True Monster(s)
Okay so I totally pulled a cop-out on this one. My original thought was “the true monster is humanity all along!” (thanks nearly every episode of Twilight Zone), but drawing an ordinary human just seemed… bland. So I started drawing Tyris Flare (i.e. the Amazonian from Golden Axe) with something like “the true monster was the monster hunter” but I screwed up the perspective and I just didn’t like it.
Then I remembered watching Dirty Pair as a kid on public access, and it just kinda clicked into place, though it came out a bit rough.
Don’t ask why I was watching Dirty Pair as a kid.
(Also in case you’re wondering, “Girls With Guns” is an homage to the name of the show when it was released in the U.S.)
